Helping you find clarity when health feels unclear.
Meet your naturopath
Hi, I’m Yasmin, the Naturopath behind Gut Instincts.
A caring, evidence-based Naturopath passionate about helping you feel at ease in your body again.
I take a holistic, science-backed approach to uncover the why behind your symptoms—whether it’s gut health, hormones, fatigue, or skin concerns. Together, we’ll create simple, sustainable solutions that fit into real life (not just on paper).
My goal is to help you understand your body, restore balance, and feel confident in your long-term health and wellbeing.
my key areas of focus:
-
Acne is driven by underlying imbalances rather than surface symptoms alone. Key factors include hormonal fluctuations (such as PMS, PCOS, and perimenopause), digestive and gut dysbiosis, blood sugar irregularities, chronic inflammation, poor detoxification (especially liver function), and nutrient deficiencies. Food sensitivities, high-glycaemic diets, stress, and exposure to environmental toxins also play a central role in driving systemic inflammation and acne.
-
Common gut health conditions seen in my practice include small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), leaky gut (intestinal permeability), dysbiosis (microbial imbalance), food intolerances, chronic constipation, diarrhoea, acid reflux (GERD), and inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis. Other issues such as histamine intolerance, bloating, gastritis, and malabsorption syndromes are also frequently addressed, with treatment approaches, and functional testing tailored to help uncover and resolve underlying contributors like microbiome imbalance, gut inflammation, and food sensitivities
-
I treat a range of female reproductive health conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, irregular or painful periods, PMS, PMDD, menopausal symptoms, vaginal infections, preconception care, and hormonal imbalances. My naturopathic approach is holistic, addressing underlying drivers like endocrine disruption, gut health, environmental toxins, inflammation, liver congestion, and nutritional or lifestyle factors.
“I visited Yasmin for help with PMS symptoms, including acne, bloating, and mood swings. After our first session, I made a few adjustments to my diet and started taking the liquid herbs she recommended. The difference has been incredible… My skin cleared up, bloating stopped, and I no longer feel the emotional rollercoaster before my period. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to balance their hormones and improve overall wellness!”
